Wyclef Jean
Wyclef fled Haiti along with his family when he was nine years old.
Wyclef Jean was a member of the Fugees (an abbreviation of Refugees) - a critically-acclaimed New Jersey hip hop trio that rose to fame in the mid-1990s. Their second album, “The Score”, has become one of the best-selling hip hop albums of all time.
After leaving the Fugees, Wyclef launched his successful career as a solo artist with the album “Wyclef Jean Presents the Carnival Featuring the Refugee All-Stars”.
