5 NEW Refugee Week T-shirt designs
We’ve just made a whole bunch of new t-shirts for this year’s Refugee Week - letting you wear your support for refugees.
There’s five beautiful designs for you to get your mitts on: the classic Refugee Week logo in gorgeous Red or Olive, three different Simple Acts designs and (our favourite) Gold shirt with plenty of Simple Acts to inspire you and everyone around you.
All Refugee Week T-shirts are made by American Apparel, a progressive LA based company that guarantees sweatshop free products. American Apparel are currently campaigning for immigration reform and speaking out for the human rights of immigrants.
We hope to have pictures of folks wearing the T-shirts soon. In the meantime – check out the designs at our little shop:

We’ve also got loads of free promotional materials for Refugee Week and Simple Acts, including lovely A3 posters, flyers and action cards.

Simple Act of the month - Find out who you REALLY are
Each newsletter we flag up something which lets you complete a Simple Act. This month we’ve chosen something that gets right down to the roots – your roots.
This Simple Act is one of our favourites (you’re right, they all are in a way). Finding out who you really are can be just a thought or a sophisticated project. You can be serious about it or just have a little fun. Either way you’ll find out new things about you, which can be very exciting.
- Easy ways to explore your family tree.
- Inspiration from celebrity explorers.
- Info on the ‘Who Do We Think We Are’ campaign.

A great resource to use during Refugee Week 2010
