Refugee Week is a unique opportunity to discover and celebrate the contributions refugees bring to the UK. Refugee Week 2012 is going to be from the 18th to the 24th of June.

Applications for Rayne Fellowships 2012 Open

Applications for the 2012 Rayne Fellowships are now open. The fellowships are a programme that supports individual refugees to develop a ‘Big Idea’ – an initiative that will positively impact their community .

Applicants should be over 18 . Succesful applicants will receive the right support, resources and training to turn their vision into reality and make a real difference to people’s lives. Each year, five people will be selected for the Fellowships. They will be able to draw upon a resource fund of up to £15,000 to be spent on personal development, further training or education, resources, expert advice, one-to-one mentoring and attending networking events. The Big Idea could be in sport, culture, social enterprise or anything that supports development in your community and builds bridges between communities.
