The Simple Acts campaign is promoted and advanced by the Refugee Week partnership.
The Refugee Week partnership is made up of Amnesty International UK, British Red Cross, the Children's Society, the Home Office, Oxfam, Refugee Action, Refugee Council, Save the Children Fund UK, Scottish Refugee Council, Student Action for Refugees, UNCHR and Welsh Refugee Council. Refugee Week is a UK wide programme of events which celebrate the contribution of refugees to the UK. During Refugee Week hundreds of events exploring refugee experiences take place across the UK. These range from small community and school activities to art exhibitions, political debates, film screenings, conferences, big music festivals, sports events etc.
Refugee Week 2010 will take place from 14 - 20 June.
