These wonderful messages of welcome were made during the Celebrating Sanctuary Sunday 13th June at Bristol's Queen Square.
Me and my 21 month old daughter sat with our crayons and oil pastels and drew a poster together. It was a lovely family activity but we also wanted to make a colourful poster to represent the diversity refugees bring to communities. Although she's only a toddler, it's important to me my daughter understands the world around her one day. Our family were refugees several generations ago.
We made a pro refugee banner in the library and took a group photo in town while on the Destitution Fundraiser!
My colleagues and I at Refugee Council made banners as part of the destitution fundraising event. Our banner said : 'No-one is illegal.'
Destitution clients how they can manage to leave with one pound. I found it try to stay with one pound for 10 hour is difficult and destrees.

I made this tiny contribution to the campaign after only hearing about refugee week today! Eager to get involved and follow the success of supporters of refugees, I've tried to do as many of the 'little acts' as possible. off to see the 'Living in silence' exhibition in Brick lane now!
It was hard work but I enjoyed doing it. It said "sometimes London can be bad but there are good things about it to."
Me and my whole class made a banner all about the rememberance and the importance of Refugee Week.
Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers had a stall at Sanctuary Celebration and we were taking pictures with it. :)
